Peace Academy Donation

The Jeromy Brown Family Fund donated $7,500 to Peace Academy to support their ambassador program. Peace Academy is a 501(c)3 non-profit preschool located in Fargo. Each classroom at Peace Academy has an ambassador - an adult with a developmental disability - who attends the preschool between one and three hours a week with a direct-support professional. The program is a great opportunity for young children to learn about people of differing abilities. Jana Bruhschwein, Founder of Peace Academy said, “I think we can change the world when we can help 3, 4, and 5-year-olds know what is right about the person in front of them, rather than look for our differences.”

Jeromy Brown was the inspiration behind their ambassador program. He has worked with Peace Academy staff as an ambassador for the past 7 years. His impact has been felt by many children and families. Peace Academy was able to purchase scooter boards and rack, balls and ball carts, an adaptive basketball hoop, wall mat system, bean bags, cones, yoga mats, hula hoops, a popcorn machine for the ambassador lounge and lots more!
